Um, months or years...? ;-)
Anything to report Andrew? Sure would be nice to have a timeframe for the next release.
Oh - and why does the quote function not work on this forum anymore?

no or scant communication with its user base is what makes one not to trust a software company.

Hi,
In January the first public beta version of the new major release of HighDesign will be available for external testing. Some minor features could still be not 100% ready, but interested beta testers will appreciate the huge progress in the development and the new exciting features and improvements.

Re: HighDesign Development Making Great Progress
the prospect of a new and more capable version of HD is really exciting. even though I do most of my documentation with sketchup + layout having a good cad program at hand is fundamental and I think HD can be it.
I am a veteran of minicad – later renamed to vectorworks – and used to love it before it became a bloated and expensive app. HD's ease of use remind me of minicad as well as the fact that one can organize a drawing by way of sheets and layers (in MC and VW this feature goes by the name of layers and classes).

Half way through the month now... release coming? Is it here that we express interest in being beta testers?
Looking forward to it!

It is getting on toward the end of January now. Any additional news on the beta release for the next version?
