A little help desired...
With regard to layouts: I am wondering if it is possible to show two sheets concurrently in one viewport? IN particular I was thinking of having my grid (and maybe section + elevation markers) on a separate sheet from the floor plans (that never changes) so that I could then have a series of view ports with for instance GROUND FLOOR + GRID, then FIRST FLOOR + GRID, SECOND FLOOR + GRID, etc... I've not yet found a way to do this. If this is not currently possible how are others handling grids on multi-storey buildings?
I am having difficulties with rotated viewport graphics on sheets. How do others handle elevations? DO you group your plans and rotate them, or do you draw your elevations around the plans then use rotated viewports? Or some other strategy?
Snaps. I love the 'snap to sub objects' as this allows me to align viewports (or rather elements within). Is there a way to snap to the lines / intersections /etc. within hatches? For example, I have set my brick hatch to the correct datum and now I want to align windows and doors... but I cannot seem to snap to the bricks. Any help or advice?
Thank you.
