Working with layers
Re: Working with layers
Hi, layers are regarded as object properties, so you can change them in the same way as you change the other properties: select the objects and set the new property.
There are three ways that you can change the layer:
1. Select the objects and choose the new layer from the drop-down menu on the Properties bar, the toolbar directly above the drawing area.
2. Using the Layers panel, select the objects, move the pointer over the desired layer and click the right arrow that appears after the layer name.
3. Using the contextual menu, select the objects and choose the new layer from the menu on the Layers item.
Flattening is not currently supported in the same way as you would find in other graphics software. You'd need to select all the objects on a layer (Edit > Select Current Layer), move them to a different layer and then delete the original layer.
