Re: website update
Hi Derek!
saw your website before, following the link in your signature... Congratulations! i definitely love some of your architectural creations and the 3D (SketchUp?) models, can't find many 2Ds... got some more HD works to show us?
BTW it's nice to see the pub's still open
Cheers,
Alessandro

The 3Ds are SketchUp and maxwell render (with some Cheetah3D mixed in for good measure...SurfingAlien wrote: i definitely love some of your architectural creations and the 3D (SketchUp?) models, can't find many 2Ds... got some more HD works to show us?

The 2Ds are there, but admittedly small. I've submitted a few projects to the guys here at Ilexsoft for their galleries. They tell me there will be an update to their site in the near future and they'll hold off adding them until then.

about 3Ds... i mean the sketches; are you saying that pictures in the "gallery" are Maxwell's and not real photos?

it's time to go to bed now (2am in Italy...)

Re: website update
Beautiful drawings for sure!
Speaking of beautiful drawings if you haven't already get down to the NYC Guggenheim and see the Wright retro before it closes. One aspect of construction drawings on paper with pen and pencil is that you have traces of what and where the design started and progressed.
This is an aspect of something I believe is missed. Especially by the client. They see a printed drawing via computer and typically don't realize the journey unless we bring multiple options. Even then, a simple line or move or erase of the mouse pencil is lost.

Re: website update
Perhaps this went unnoticed, we recently updated our Gallery with several drawings by Derek Siemens and the Krebs Design Group. Thanks Derek for the pdf's, those are beautiful projects indeed!

We will think about it...No kidding! They should start giving out free drinks to get things going in here...
