Re: autosaved files?
Backup is a copy of your file that is saved, identical to the original, just as the name says, as a 'Backup". I think it is updated each time you do a 'Save'. Autosaved is a file that is saved automatically when you should have some kind of a problem like a freeze in HD. It is a current copy of...

I was having a problem trying to put a 100% white fill in a rectangle to create a mask over some lines within the rectangle. No matter what I tried, the lines I was trying to hide ( tha...

Re: Flip page?
Didn't have time yesterday to try to figure out how to attach an actual Grab Shot of that Page Setup Pane with the three orientation icons. It looks like I have attached this Grab Shot but I can't see the actual picture just a reference to the file. Here's hoping ....... !!!! GRAB - PAGE SETUP ICONS...

Re: Flip page?
Maybe it's in the Print version. I am still using OS 10.3.9 on the old 450mhz G4 here but I know I have the three icons on my Macbook Pro at home using 10.4 something ... are you guys running 10.5. ?

Re: Flip page?
No ...... I get three page orientation icons. The two you have plus another landscape that has the figure reversed at 180º to the one you have here ...... maybe it is a printer thing. I only have a printer capable of 11x17 here in the office, Epson Stylus 1280. Are you using a printer capable of D s...

Re: Flip page?
I find that selecting, in Page Setup, the alternate Landscape orientation icon to the one you are using changes the broader vertical margin to the other end of the sheet. Is this what you are asking ?

Re: Dimensions
That didn't work too well. The stretched dimensions rearranged themselves to become dimensions that were now parallel to a line that would be between the points that were selected for the extension lines to start at. ( If these points were not on a line that was parallel to the X or Y axis ) .... do...

Dimensions
The ability to move a whole line of dimensions, instead of individual ones only, closer to or further from the dimensioned object would be a real time saver ..... !

Re: WINDOW SHADE
Thanks Derek .... I am aware of the ability to make the floating palettes transparent and I am sure that this suits a lot of people. I find though, that when I have a Sheets palette with a lot of sheets in it it is confusing to have it overlapping other transparent palettes as well as being able to ...
