image print quality

Post by macitect »

Which is the best image format and resolution to use in order to get optimal results when printing? The image will appear in the title block.

Thanks

Usually Tiff is the format to choose if you want to preserve full quality. Alternatively, a JPEG with a 80-90% quality is a viable option.
To get a fine result in print, the resolution should be at least 150 DPI, ideally 300.
