I imported an dxf file from Autocad where I had layer groups (with floors - each floor having circa 10 layers). I ended with many layers in pop up menu. It would be quite convenient to have some layer groups or something depending on sheets. Is there a trick to do this?

In this scenario I think the best bet is to have those basic 10 layers once and use the sheets to differentiate between floors...

AHhh - right! It's just Autocad thinking versus HD thinking. I had caught myself the same as working on Vectorworks. Thanks!

Learn to use the Project Views as a way to have multiple layer sets too.
