Any tips on importing dxf drawings from acad. It seems that when importing the dxf drawings into HD some of the items don't make it thru. Especially curved walls and lines.
Curved walls in AutoCAD are essentially splines or arcs created by the Offset command. Support for SPLINE entities in DXF drawings has been added in the 1.7b1 update (see related post).
Arcs are usually imported correctly, unless there are some file-specific settings that the DXF importer is not prepared to handle. We are examining the file you sent us and will tweak the importer to overcome those difficulties.
