calling all designers!

I know that there are some great designers here (I've seen stuff on other boards), but because I don't want to sign up to a bunch of different forums, I'm hoping some of you will talk design with me here...
This is a small reception area redesign (a small refreshing, really) for a law office in a small town. In the following image, in case it isn't clear, I am proposing a signing counter that faces the entrance. The skirt under that counter will be frosted glass with the name of the firm in clear glass. I want the lighting to be subtle which is why I opted to hide some mini spots under the counter, but I need to find a way to balance so that the 4 names are more equally lit. Any guidance much appreciated.
