tolerances?

tolerances?

Can anyone tell me what "tolerances" means in the dimensions palette?

i think it's more a product design and engineering thing where they have allowable tolerances in dimensions

Swank-e's on it... its a user designated manufacturing measurement, usually plus and minus at your discretion.

Correct .... !

It's a machining specifiation usually, eg. in machining a round shaft to fit into a hole, the diameter might be given as " 2.9375" + 0.0000" - 0.0010".
