architectural font

Post by steven »

Being a former acad user I was used to using an architectural font (such as architext or archistyle). Does anyone have a resourse for architecural fonts for the mac that I could use with HD?

I also have one called Tekton. FOund it a long time ago and I think it too is in the public domain. It is styled on Francis Ching's printing.

Anyone interested let me know. Will be happy to share.

EDIT: As it has been brought to my attention that this is not a public domain font, I guess I had better retract my offer. Sorry.

Anything in the public domain (like music compositions after 50 or 75 years or something like that) can be used without paying any royalties.

Basically, Tekton is copyrighted... so not a freebie.

But honestly I don't have any idea what the copyright laws are concerning fonts...

cheers,

Here's a nice font I found. I bought the Medium font and it prints nice at 6 pixels and above. The kerning is a little tight on the medium.
