Re: Library
I dont believe there is a change in symbol size. Several of us a couple years ago tossed around the idea of building a user based symbol database kind of like Sketchup did... but could figure out how/where to place the database... I import DWG/DXF images a lot, especially from plumbing manufacturers...

Re: PDFs revisited
My concerns with PDFs via Print, Save As PDF are that the PDFs are not flattened. So the files are huge and take a long time to load. I'm not that familiar with flattening routines, but recognize it could be part of the problem.

Re: HighDesign Development Making Great Progress
Now I'm noticing more in the screen shot... what do you see?
Two windows open at once
Lines and Lineweights at the top of the panel
Zoom/Views on lower right
Snaps at bottom left
Maybe a paperspace-like view called Layout
Perhaps a way to import 3D models

Re: HighDesign Development Making Great Progress
Welcome sky - I use HD Pro for a residential practice and have since the first iteration - in the beginning the application team was crashing through major bug fixes, bringing on some major features and really communicative in the process. I believe a lot of us got spoiled in a sense. Now fast forwa...

Other than a performance boost for large drawing sets, I'm perfectly content.

Re: OS Lion & HighDesign 1.8.x
Did something happen with 10.7.1?
HD 1.8.5 and 1.8.6b1 were both working with initial Lion - now the update seemed to break something.

Re: AutoCAD translation
Good luck with this - I never seem to get text blocks, dimensions, etc. consistently from other dog files so not sure how the HD export will handle them. The other difference will be what happens with acad's need for paper/model space. Another in between may be to use SU Layout - import dsn files th...

Re: HighDesign on OS X Lion
Work on performance of large files please! About the time my drawings get to 2MB things start to slow down.
