Crossing walls do not intersect
Although this is a somewhat infrequent occurrence for me, i have noticed that when i try to draw two walls that cross, they do not intersect. By this i mean, they look as though one is simply drawn over the other (see attached image). Is there a way, short of drawing three walls to fix this?

Re: New version?
It really would be too bad if they stopped developing HD. I have been using it for a couple of years now and really love it. Though it does currently have some issues that i was looking forward to seeing resolved in an upcoming release. Hopefully we will can get some confirmation from the developers...

Re: rectangular columns
I would second this request.
In addition, i would like to see the walls intersect columns in the same manner that they intersect other walls.

Indication of Selection
I would like to see another way of indicating what is selected. I have found that often i am zoomed in too close to see the end or middle points of an object, and hence do not know if it is selected or not. This has caused a bit of a minor annoyance as i sometimes end up applying an operation to the...

Constrain Stretch
I am wondering if i can constrain the stretch command parallel or perpendicular to a particular object. I have tried the standard procedure for constraining, but when i click the object i want to constrain relative to, the objects i am stretching snap to a point that is not where i clicked, nor is i...

Re: wall intersections kaflooey on ungroup
I have not had any trouble with wall intersections until recently. When copying a particular plan, i lose all the wall intersections and have to go through and fix them all. The intersections are not at right angles, so i don know if this has anything to do with it or not. I played around with diffe...

Re: Creating print area's
1) The Print Area tool is located at the bottom of the tools are arranged down the left side of the screen. Just select that tool and draw a rectangle around the area you want to print. You will then be prompted to name the print area. 2) First, are you using the standard version, or the professiona...

Re: Paste one object inside another
Unfortunately, i do not know of any way to accomplish what you are asking. The "viewport" feature is the one thing i miss after having switched from AutoCAD. It is nice to be able only have one drawing to change and yet have multiple uses of it. Maybe, something like a "paste inside&q...

Re: Paste one object inside another
The "paste inside" feature, at least in Freehand, is not exactly a boolean operation as the all the data of the object that is pasted is still available for editing and can be repositioned with in the boundary. It essentially acts as a masking function. That being said, it would be helpful...

Re: Hierarchy and relationship of "pages" to "layers"
I am not sure i am understanding your dilemma entirely. So if my answer is out of order, please forgive. First off, i am assuming that by "pages" you are referring to Sheets. If so, layers and sheets behave somewhat independently of each other. Any given layer can exist on any given sheet,...

Re: Magic Mouse
Is this not how it should behave? I have no experience with the Magic Mouse. But with every other mouse i have ever used, the scroll wheel (or ball on the Mighty Mouse) served to zoom in and out of the drawing. It also allows me to pan when pressed and held while moving the mouse. I did take a quick...

Re: Spaces
I recently discovered Hyperspaces which i had received as part of the last MacHeist. It had been sitting in a folder with other apps i was unable to use until i upgraded from Tiger. Anyway, i have found that it greatly simplifies the the transition to using spaces for me, as i can name the spaces as...

Re: Spaces
I have run into this same problem with windows opening in the "wrong" space". So what is your preferred method of switching between spaces? I have not fully explored all the options, but there seems to be keyboard shortcuts as well as the menu bar icon. Is there another way? Also, whe...

Spaces
I just upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard and am exploring the use of Spaces to organize my work. For instance, having one space set up for my Architecture software, one for internet stuff, one for graphics software, etc... So far i am torn as to whether or not i want to continue with this set up. ...
