Do you guys ever sleep?!?!? Yes, when we run out of caffeine  Thanks for the speedy update. It is working marvelously now. One question though; why did you change the tool icons to black? Not that I am opposed... just curious as I always liked the blue. We wanted to make the icons more contra...

There will be a new FC soon as there are some cool new features we would like you to preview. We are pleased of the feedback we received with this experiment of semi-public beta testing and will most likely continue in the future. The next FC will be PPC, as the UB is under internal testing at this ...

I guess by "alpha channel" you really mean "alpha compositing". An Alpha Channel sets the degree of transparency of each pixel of an image by a value between 0 and 1, and that is what HighDesign does. If you want to exclude certain colors, like white, then you would have to creat...

Yes, I think I have just the example of what you mean: the Display Settings in SketchUp. There you can decide the appearance of the model by setting Depth Cue, Extensions, Endpoints and Jitter. It is possible in HighDesign, though not as in SketchUp or with as many options. First, make a copy of you...

Just curious, why would you need to do that?
If you want to use the mouse wheel to scroll, you can hold down the Option key ("alt" on european keyboards) to scroll vertically and Shift to scroll horizontally.

Pictures in HighDesign can be set to any alpha value: Select the image and choose Edit > Properties > Image or open the contextual menu and choose Edit Properties.

If you were referring to imported images, then I believe PNG and Tiff alpha channels are supported too.

1. Fixed. 2. Interesting request, thanks. Initially this could be applied to the editing tools, such as Offset or Rotate. 3. This is something we are working on. 4. Not sure what you mean here. Is it a kind of sketch effect to have the lines overshoot the endpoints? If so, there already are some lin...

By your description it looks like they are bugs. Please keep in mind that the version you are using, 1.7fc5 I guess, is pre-release software and it does contain bugs. Since the release of fc5, we squashed a few bugs in the new project views, so chances are the issues you reported are solved already....

It won't take long. The Universal Binary version of HighDesign is currently under testing and will be available soon as a free update.
We are waiting for some third party components to be updated, namely the libraries providing support for graphics formats and image manipulation.

Currently the only way to post pictures to this forum would be to upload them to your web space or .mac account and paste the link using the "Img" tag. Anyway, an easier way to upload them on our servers, like a form page, would be great. If you have any projects you would like to see publ...
