Hi ybalx, no need to use other apps. If possible, please send us one of those DXF files and we will look into it. Unfortunately, given the wide range of flavors and programs that handle and export DXF drawings, most compatibility problems have to be solved on a per-file basis.

Steven, we have found a problem with pen-weight #8, which apparently is too big a issue for AutoCAD and causes the "drawing discarted" message. Of course every other CAD software in the world seems to have no problem at all with that pen-weight.
We have fixed it for the next update already.

I'm wondering about including the file path for the particular drawing that I am working on somewhere on the sheet so it is visible on the hard copy for quick reference. Hi idesign and welcome to the forums! There are many highdesigners in the Vancouver-Seattle area, maybe you can find someone willing to do some training. Anyway, as macitect said, don't hesitate to post your questions here and to the support staff.

The ability to edit group members was temporarily removed in 1.7.0 due to the new structure of groups, which required quite a lot of internal changes.
For the next update we have added this functionality back by enabling selection and editing of single objects inside groups and sub-groups.
