Why not support DWG? I asked this question in version 1.1 and the response was the dwg format is not an open standard and thus HD was unable to work with it at that time... several years ago. It didn't make much sense to me then, but I had a work around to open dwg's in Sketchup and then export to d...

This is in a realm of crossing over platforms between the Mac and Windows OS that will always be troublesome. I would suggest you print as though you had the larger plotter in house through the HD print preview and print routine, and then when the Mac printer dialog box comes up, print to PDF. Use t...

Snapping a print area rectangle to the page margin should print at 100%. The application seems to know about specific margins and how they change depending on printer, paper size and orientation in Page Setup. If Print Area command can not snap this way, then design the Sheet corners to be snap-able...

For multiple scale details I use sheets Start with the original drawing Select the portion you want to detail Copy/duplicate to a new sheet Change the scale You'll have to either readjust dimension and note dialogs to resize text for the new sheet in order to keep it the same size overall (compared ...

This is how I use a titleblock. I created a typical drawing with a sheet. Identified the typical page setup. Made print boundaries visible Draw the titleblock Select the titleblock and print area Make a new symbol For a new drawing or sheet create a layer called Title 1, Title 2, and so on create a ...

For me, the solution is for the Print Area should snap to the Sheet page margin, knowing that changes on printer and orientation, and reflect a 1:1 ratio. The other thing that is nice about the Sheet Page margin is that they seem to be the only snap-able object on the sheet. So when you move a sheet...

I echo your comments. I believe its a code error and its been around for a long time. I usually get a reduction of 98.xxx% so I haven't complained too much. Here's what I believe is happening: Select the page size and orientation in Page Setup. For example you pick 11x17 landscape. Select the page s...

Here's a nice font I found. I bought the Medium font and it prints nice at 6 pixels and above. The kerning is a little tight on the medium.
