Do you have a tool command activated?
For instance, if you've selected line tool and clicked on the drawing to start the line and move off the screen, the drawing will move incrementally as long as you're still off screen... kind of auto-scrolling.

For me Pro version delivers functionality that I can't work without: 1) sheets (kind of an autocad paper space type function) 2) command shortcuts, and 3) ability to import/export autocad dxf (allows me to work with consultant's files and other applications like SketchUp.) There are a several other ...

Why not simply draw these shapes with hairline lines, fill the interior, then plot at the accurate scale for the etching? I would not try to manipulate actual line weights because of the problems you've found with endpoint widths, not being fine enough, etc. In other words, draw your object either s...

Thanks for the hard work getting another update out to us. Each one is better and better. Hope y'all are having fun too... ;b I look forward to hearing more about the universal code timeline. I'm holding off on the new intel macs until the power mac is updated this summer. Hopefully the universal HD...

I have solved this problem several ways: Create a white solid fill to match the outline of the windows and placing it behind the window line work, grouping these together, and then placing the new group over the clapboard. Create a clapbaord fill and pick around the facade and windows (very labor in...

Yeah I did... I've been out more than in the office to respond... I will however. Back to point on the command, and perhaps this belongs in the wish list forum, but a solution to this problem that would speed up the routine would be to force the break/trim/join routine to cleave off the section oppo...

2 is probably the average with most lines at the finest setting. I use an ink jet plotter which doesn't do that well with line wights that are close to one another. I seem to use more colored translucent fills to provide more graphic understanding. For instance, rather than increase the line weight ...

I am careful with placing upgrade versions to keep the past working copy of the application in a separate folder. While Final Candidates should be good copies you never know that everything is going to work for you... so its nice to try the newer version and also have the older version availabe just...

I sometimes use the Print Weight but mostly use hairline because I find that the heavier weights change too much with zooming in and out. I must admit that I do not work too much with line weights like I used to with autocad and line colors. Now, pretty much all my lines are black with exception of ...

I'm not sure if the origin (0,0) stays the same from project to project. I bet the current setting is held in your preference list... Regardless, to reset the origin (and therefore define 0,0) use the point icon on the left and select the larger point symbol that responds to the drawing origin. And ...
