Adjustable icon sizes, support scroll ball

I note the side bar icons are slightly more spaced in 1.8.7 - I'd really like the ability to adjust the size of all the icons, top and side, as I find them all a little small. In addition, the layer control and line type controls at the bottom do not support Apple's mouse scroll ball, which is reall...

Re: HighDesign 1.8.6 is now available for download!

Some subtle changes, nothing too obvious, hopefully its all under the hood. Re: HighDesign 1.8.6 beta 1 Now Available

Been using it with 10.6.6 and haven't had any issues. Jumping back to 1.8.5 I don't have the problems simon has - its all fine.

Re: AutoCAD translation

For all of its many faults, Vectorworks imports dwg files really well, retaining all of the text formatting, unlike HD, which doesn't. I can open the same dwg file on the same Mac and end up with completely different looking drawings. I haven't tried it in the other direction.

Excellent news that HD has a future, thank you.

Re: HighDesign on OS X Lion

That’s the second teaser picture, the first posted over 9 months ago. Really, I think Ilexsoft are doing us and themselves a disservice by continuing to ignore reasonable requests for some sort of road map or timetable. Is it a coincidence that Andrew's post is 2 years to the day after the release o...

Re: High Design on Win7?

Agree, never mind Windows, Ilexsoft should concentrate all their resources on HD for the Mac (and hopefully let us have news soon)! Use dwg to swap between platforms.

Re: Forum Maintenance Completed

Good to know, but the forum has fallen very quiet since not being given any news about future updates in the relevant thread over a month ago. Andrew, please can we have some sort of statement about the future of HD please?

Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia

Agree wholeheartedly - July 2009 was the last update, to 1.8.5, and the website hasn't changed much since then either. With programs such as Vectorworks moving to an annual cycle, with intermediate bug fixes, Ilexsoft need to more pro-active. Certainly, potential customers reading this forum are goi...

Re: CAD programme comparisons

Arguably the industry standard in architecture is VectorWorks, but it all depends on what you want to achieve and how much you want to spend/invest. Autocad is of course now available for the Mac, at a price, and it, along with VWorks, Archicad and so on will all handle multi million pound/dollar pr...
