A tip to get good printouts from PDF files

Hi, apparently the handling of PDF files when you are going to print is not so easy and, above all, it is not a task everyone can do without a bit of experience. I had a conversation with an experienced graphic professional in a printing house about the best way to handle PDF files and got a preciou...

Re: HD 1.8.5 Manual

Hi, perhaps you used Safari to download the PDF document. When the download is complete the Manual opens in your browser's window but it is not still saved on your Mac: therefore, you must save it by choosing the "Save As" command of the File menu. Best, Giovanni Is the Manual now Web Base...

Re: Dashed Line

Dashed lines can start with a space but always end with a dash. Anyway, in the Drawing Manager > Linetypes pane do the following: - Duplicate line #25 - Set the pattern units to pixels (you can actually use any units) - Set the first Dash to 0 and the first Space to 3 - Add a second pattern - Set th...

Re: HighDesign does not import symbols from illustrator

Nonetheless, I have not been able to successfully or consistently export to .dwg all times with HD 1.8.1 so perhaps this is one for the home team to tackle. Hello, In the current version we noticed a wrong conversion of groups when exporting as DXF/DWG documents causing the program to generate inva...

Re: On Sheets Palette

Any solution for a missing Sheet palatte? It must have been pushed off the screen... I can show and hide, and objects have a connection, yet I can't find it. Any command or refresh to get all windows back within view? Perhaps the best solution is to delete the preferences: this will restore the def...

I'm sorry you stumbled upon a spammer's website. We delete this kind of fake accounts several times a day, as unfortunately this forum, as well as many others, is on the radar of spammers. We are looking for a solution to the problem.

That account has of course been deleted.

Hi Vanzen, perhaps your issue is linked to the auto-save function. Check the Automatic save settings in the General pane of Preferences and try increasing the auto-save time. Sometimes images, groups and a large number of layers can slow-down the save process and, if the auto-save time is set to 5 m...

After downloading the 1.6.2fc1 folder, expand it and drag its contents into the HighDesign folder to use your libraries and HD resources.
Every time you double-click a .dsn document, the Finder will launch the most recent version of HighDesign.
