roll feed

I got rid of the roll feed to force myself to get out of my chair more often and get away from the computer. I tend to get fixated to the computer and if I don't get out of my chair on a regular basis I start to have back problems. You're probably a lot younger than me and have a stronger back.........

I produce most of the copiest I need for my projects - but, if I have to produce, let's say 10 sets of working drawings (@ 150 sheets), I'll send them out. My time is better spent doing other things.

just a note to support derek - there should be a clear difference between leader with notes and dimensions - this would be helpful - and save time - when redrafting a rough draft or going back to a drawing that has been marked up by an engineer. also, I'm not a big fan of the triangle arrow head. DXF

I'm having problems opening a DXF created in HD in acad. This is what I'm prompt in acad.
"Invalid or incomplete DXF input - drawing discarded"
Any ideas?

CAD system

what kind of CAD do you do? I have experience in residential architecture in doing conceptual presentations and working drawings. For me the main focus is to have a vision of what the end product should look like.
