I just upgraded to Leopard & suddenly am having great difficulty selecting and editing objects. I can click on end and mid points, but it won't select. I'm having a problem with Layer colors too. I have preset colors for each layer. Sometimes my tools pick up the color of the layer when I change layers, sometimes they don't. Steven, is that what you're doing with 1.8 (print to PDF)? Have you been able to do straight printing without going the PDF route?

i have a layer called 'working lines' where I store all of them...then just turn it off or hide all other layers & kill everything on the 'working lines' layer.

Will work for symbols Anyone have the following in 1/4" scale that I may use (plan/overhead view)?
* clothes washer
* clothes dryer
* bicycle

Andrew, I've lost my symbol library somewhere between 1.7.2 and 1.8. I have the old folder in my 1.7.1 folder, but am not sure where to move it so that 1.8 can use it. When I try to save symbol in 1.8, it goes to my documents folder by default, should my sybmbols live there? Any advice?

Then report our findings back to the forum for each feature. That way, we could all get proficient quickly (using each others info) without a lot of individ...

Is there one file that saves all of my current HD preferences & my layers? I want to save a copy of it so I can 'revert' when my layers occassionally go ballistic.
