multiple projects opened
I don't get why I can't open multiple files at once. This could be really useful as I do that often in other apps (cad and non-cad as well). If this could be done - all tools should be in separate floating window.

After some imports I think I'll have to pass over HD and stick with Autocad under Parallels for a while. I've sent quite a simple file to support to figure out how could it be that my laptop burns (reaches 90% of one core) during zooms and pans. And a Macbook 2ghz/2GB of Ram handles smoothly Windows...

how many highdesigners are there?
Is there any chance that HD would give some graphs/numbers about how popular HD is becoming? I know that those numbers could be a marketing secret but it would be nice to know :] Also - since discussion on forum isn't buzzing I would suggest to promote Forum much more than just usual link (make it b...

construction grid
It would be a nice feature to have a construction grid with axes that are described automatically (like A,B,C,D,etc. horizontally and 1,2,3,4,et. vertically).

changing type of tool during using it
I start to draw a line but I decide after I began drawing it that I would like to change it (ie. to double line with left side alignment). I got to stop drawing line, select new type and then start drawing again. It would be obvious to me to change line type (or any type of tool) during actually usi...

area units
I don't know I can't set units for displaying area. When I usually draw using cm I would like to see areas in m2. Please add this feature.

I need a test file
Could someone give me a project he has been working on in HD? It has to be quite big because I want to look how HD handles large files (and converting a dwg to dxf isn't the right way to actually test this app). It can be something generic and doesn't have to have any sense at all. I don't need a pr...

Even a few lines of text? (like there are only subtitles to some elevations - maybe about 50 letters). p.s. Getting rid of text - do you mean removing it from the drawing or just turning layers off? If the latter - it's not working well. I left only few layers on (with no text) and with full view it...

importing dxf files
Right now I'm testing Highdesign. Because I'm working with Autocad people I need to know if this app will work well with dxf generated by AutoCad. It looks like it's ok, but it's so slow. Zooming in and out is so jaggy I can't believe it. I got Macbook 2 gHz with 2 GB of RAM and Autocad running in P...

option to group layers
I imported an dxf file from Autocad where I had layer groups (with floors - each floor having circa 10 layers). I ended with many layers in pop up menu. It would be quite convenient to have some layer groups or something depending on sheets. Is there a trick to do this?

dwg in highdesign
Does anybody knows how high is fee for using dwg format? I think it would greatly improve Highdesign and would make some AutoCad users to join the game.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoCAD_DXF After reading this I wonder why Highdesign haven't used this reverse engineered format?
