Re: relative coordinates

Look at your Help menu/quick reference/drawing/set the start point at a fixed distance...
I use the L thing a lot for technical drawing although sometimes it is easier to draw construction lines. Well take a look !

Re: command-Q

I think your shortcut has been changed !
For me, in the standard edition of HD, command-Q do quit the application and "print preview" is assigned ctrl-command-P...
However, you can change your shortcuts in the pro version of HD (in the preferences panel I guess).
Hope it helps....

Well, it's true. When I reduce a little bit my Print Area, it works. Like Andrew said in an old post, there are troubles with some printers. Then you have to use the snap frame as guide only and reduce your print area to print at 100%... Thanks to you and all the others experienced users for your he...

I really don't understa...

Par contre, dans High Design<Préférence <Général, tu peux choisir de faire tourner HD en français et avoir accès au guide rapide (menu Help/aide) en français... C'est mieux que rien!

Tiled printing again: retained scale

When I print on my two vertical A4, I discover that HD effectively move the two parts of my drawing by the amount of the two margins at the centre. It means that if I draw items too close to the border lines of the sheet, HD will need 3 vertical A4 to print at 100%, although on screen I draw in a ho...

It works for me! I printed a plan on two vertical A4 with crop marks, then I had to cut the paper along the margin left by my printer. I taped the 2 sheets and nothing is missing, all my oblique lines run well between them. But...Since there are two margins at the center of my plot, and the dimensio...

I notice that changing the properties of an angular dimension do works now, but there is still a minor mistake: it keeps printing with its layer's color although the "all colours to black" is on...
