Thanks ybalx, That is also what I generally do. Then if I have more modifications to make after I just erase the larger version and copy again. The only pain with this method is the annotations that I add to the larger version. But I suppose I can keep those if they are properly placed on an appropr...

Hey guys, Here is a little render of a bottle that I modelled for another forum (I want Winnipeg - my hometown - to get an NHL hockey team back...). Anyways I am posting it here to simply show that we CAN post images here... I personally just assumed that we couldn't, but never tried. http://img72.i...

work flow & project organization

Ok, so I would like any and all input on this one... As I work more with HD I am developing a fairly good workflow and organization method, especially with the project views functionality. I am really pushing that as a way to keep my "paper sheets" organized for printing. However, there is...

I do tons of drafting for another member of this forum (and some for myself, but as I am young I don't yet have many contracts...). Haven't gone anywhere, its just that December has been incredibly busy, I have sent a few issues directly to Ilexsoft, and finally just a lot more ease on the program m...

Hi Michael, I had this problem all the time... here is the workaround; make sure that all your text boxes are significantly wider than your actual text. Sometimes your control points look like your text has just enough space, but when you go to print there is actually not enough space so it automati...

Hi Michael and welcome to the forum. What program were you using before? I think your best bet would be to import your old library as dxfs. (Although I don't recommend you bringing in any text, like for details - you'll have to redo that.) Otherwise start building your own... As far as I know there ...

Hey Peatle, Avatar is the little image that you can assign to appear beside your posts. (like my little percula clown in the fish bowl.) As far as the etymology of the word goes... no idea! http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?search=avatar&searchmode=none http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/a...

keyboard shortcuts

You've taken away the shortcut for polygons/polylines (G) and allocated it to grid activation. Why? Please give it back or provide another shortcut. I cannot find in the pref pane where I can change the shortcut for grid activation.

It does (or DID) have a small impact on performance back in 1.5 or somewhere around there, but I still have a lowly G4 powerbook (it was the envy of all my mates only 2 short years ago...) and this latest release is running really smoothly with antialias ON.

Enjoy.

HI Justin, Unless it has changed (which I doubt), the option to turn on or off antialias is in one of the menus above. Unfortunately I am at work and can't find it for you but am nearly certain the option exists. Look for it and perhaps in the meantime someone else can post the location of it for yo...
